Through my role as a trainer, wife, and teacher, I see the difficulties many families face when trying to implement a healthy lifestyle but don’t know where to start. Well…start here! No B.S. Nutrition and Fitness focuses on food and exercise that is healthy, functional, and attainable for the beginner (or the non-believer!) as well as the experienced, and anyone in between.
From where I stand in the shoes of a trainer, I realize that working out is one thing, but implementing a diet and lifestyle that coincides with all of that effort is another beast. As a wife, I get that getting your family on board with healthy eating is a workout in in itself (and I don’t even have kids)! Through the eyes of a teacher, I see everyday in our schools how heavily the future of society rests upon teaching our kids (and adults) the joy and importance of fitness and healthy eating. These three perspectives have opened my eyes to the difficulties involved with implementing a healthy lifestyle as a family or an individual.
As my husband says I have a “No B.S. Nutrition and Fitness” approach. True, I don’t have a bachelor’s of science degree in nutrition or fitness, I just have passion and experience to offer you. But when it comes to nutrition and fitness I don’t believe in B.S. or excuses, this is your body–your LIFE– we’re talking about! You only get one body to take you through this beautiful life, treat it well and live optimally.
